Ron Tiongco, Esq., an Illinois licensed attorney since 2013, founded Medeq Consulting, LLC in 2023. His professional journey includes groundbreaking work on medical device software and contributions to the design of respiratory circuits for a Fortune 500 company. With a focus on the Testing, Inspection, and Certification industry, he dedicated a significant portion of his career to supporting hundreds of medical device manufacturers at the forefront of the field. Acknowledged as a subject matter expert in the IEC 60601 and IEC 61010 series of standards, Mr. Tiongco brings extensive expertise in the OSHA NRTL program and IECEE Certification Body requirements. Having participated in thousands of investigations testing devices all over North America, he has played a pivotal role in assisting hundreds of medical device manufacturers in bringing their products to market, always prioritizing the strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure products in the market are as safe as can be.

Mr. Tiongco earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then put himself through law school at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois while balancing the demands of a full-time job. He enjoys playing the guitar, staying active, and enthusiastically chasing after his wife and three children wherever their adventures take them.
